Jill Stein’s Reddit AMA Was a Total Disaster

When the choice between the two major party candidates can only kindly be described as a contest between a giant douche and a turd sandwich, third party candidates can become irrationally appealing.

Like Green Party candidate Jill Stein. She seems hip and down with saving the earth and stuff. Look, she even went on Reddit, where all the cool young people hang out, to make her case directly to the people . What could go wrong?

Turns out everything. One Redditor asked her about her past comments about WiFi radiation harming children and the entire AMA devolved into a downvote fest. Her answer ended up with lower than -3,000 points, and the entire AMA was barely only 56 percent upvoted (less than the Trump AMA).

Stein waffled around the question, saying their was not enough information to feel safe about “killer” WiFi, and provided some bogus evidence to back her claims.

A number of scientific

Exclusive: The Killing Season Gets A New Clip

“The Killing Season” is a new docu-series from Executive Producer Alex Gibney. It premieres with back-to-back episodes on AE on November 12 at 9PM EST.

‘“The Killing Season’ takes viewers on a chilling ride through the unknown and is a perfect example of impactful storytelling that drives the cultural conversation,” says Elaine Frontain Bryant, EVP and Head of Programming, AE.

Working with amateur cyber-sleuths, Zeman and Mills uncover a web of eerie connections to unsolved murders from Atlantic City to Daytona Beach and beyond — revealing that serial killers are targeting sex workers in record numbers, while using the Internet as their virtual hunting ground. Many of the victims, often referred to as the “Missing Missing,” are never accounted for and their murders are far less likely to be solved.

This gripping eight-episode series is a deep-dive into a world of serial murder rarely seen before, going beyond pop-culture stereotypes to

Lexington divers find more bones in a vehicle pulled from the Kentucky River

More bones were found Saturday in part of a vehicle pulled from the Kentucky River, Fayette County Coroner Gary Ginn said.

The Lexington Fire Department began working near the Valley View Ferry Oct. 22 to pull out some vehicles.

One of them was badly rusted, and when the front half of it was pulled from the river, bony structures from a human foot and ankle were found, Ginn said.

On Saturday, the back half of the car was pulled out, and a right femur, two radiuses and an ulna were found.

Ginn said the Lexington Fire Department dive team and Lexington police have been at the scene.

Dr. Emily Craig, a former state forensic anthropologist who now works with the National Missing and Unidentified Persons System, or NamUs, has also been there, Ginn said, and the two of them have “a possible person” who might be connected to the remains.

Arizona missing person case solved after 22 years

The Cold Case Unit at the Coconino County Sheriff’s Office has solved a 22-year-old missing person case from Flagstaff by finally identifying a pedestrian killed by a car in Navajo County in 1994.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, Brian Nez, a 19-year-old Native American man from Flagstaff, was last seen by his family July 11, 1994. After about three months without hearing from the young man, his parents report him missing to the Sheriff’s Office on Oct. 25, 1994.

Meanwhile, the Arizona Department of Public Safety was trying, unsuccessfully, to identify a pedestrian who had been struck and killed by a vehicle in Navajo County in August 1994. The collision happened about 2 miles north of Winslow.

“They took pictures and walked Winslow and put out some information attempting to identify him in Navajo County. That’s what we did in those years,” said Coconino County cold case volunteer Jana White. “They had no

Get “POE-tic” at the First Annual Edgar Allan Poe Arts Festival

This Halloween, Philadelphia gets a little more “Poe-tic” at the very first Edgar Allan Poe Arts Festival at the German Society of Pennsylvania on Friday, Oct. 28. Created in partnership with the Edgar Allan Poe National Historical Site, this celebration hopes to bring festivalgoers back to the origins of “All Hallows’ Eve.”

Helen McKenna-Uff, interpretive park ranger from the Poe National Historical Site, says, “Halloween was first celebrated as the precursor to All Saints’ Day. Poe was very spiritual. He loved the arts and music. We want to bring those spiritual roots to this year’s festival.”

She should know. Helen has been playing the famed author for the last 17 years and will resume the role at the festival to provide some insight on how the author died. Think you can make a convincing Poe? Take part in the costume contest
