Police in Northfield, Minn., are asking for the public’s help in locating a runaway teenage girl who has special needs and is considered vulnerable.

Police are trying to locate Naomi Bruestle, 16, according to a Friday night missing person’s alert from the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension.

She was last seen at her Northfield home around 9 p.m. Thursday. Authorities say she has never run away before and there are serious concerns about her welfare.

Bruestle is black, 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighs 140 pounds and has dark hair, brown eyes and a scar on her left arm.

Anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked
