“Giving Tuesday” will be Nov. 28, so be sure you know who or what you wish to be on your “Giving Tuesday” list.
The Oklahoma Innocence Project is one of the many organizations dedicated to this donation process, raising money to exonerate those wrongly convicted.
The project has had more than 1,500 requests for assistance since it opened its doors in 2011. Currently, more than 450 cases are in the queue awaiting review by the staff and students.
Financial resources are needed to get those cases reviewed to see if there is an avenue to prove the innocence of these clients. The goal is $30,000.
Giving Tuesday is near. Think about it.
