On June 23, 2002, a two-year-old New Jersey boy named Jyrine Harris was said to have disappeared from an unlikely place: his own bed. He was last seen there at 1 a.m. and disappeared while his teenage sister LaElisa Harris was watching TV downstairs with her boyfriend. The family searched the house before calling the police at 5 a.m. Jyrine lived with his grandmother and eight other people. Authorities do not believe Jyrene was taken by either of his parents.
