Missing 58-year-old found dead in Greens Bayou, family says – KTRK

Authorities believe a body found floating in Greens Bayou is that of a man reported missing over the weekend, according to family members.

According to Texas EquuSearch, 58-year-old Mario Garduno suffered from dementia and Parkinson’s disease, as well as partial blindness and diabetes. The search organization also said Garduno had severe memory issues.

He was last seen on Saturday in east Houston, and authorities pulled his body from the bayou around 10 a.m. Monday.

Family members said Garduno was found not far from his apartment complex.

It’s not clear how Garduno died.

Missing 58-year-old man with memory loss last seen in E. Houston – KTRK

A man with several medical issues disappeared in the east side of Houston over the weekend.

According to Texas EquuSearch, 58-year-old Mario Garduno suffers from dementia and Parkinson’s disease, as well as partial blindness and diabetes. The search organization also said Garduno has memory issues and may not know his name or where he lives.

Garduno is described as Hispanic, 5’5″ and 195 pounds. He has black, graying hair and dark brown eyes.

He also has a tattoo of a scorpion on his neck and another of a spider on his right hand.

He was last seen on Saturday.

Texas EquuSearch said Billy Jackson was found unharmed by METRO police Tuesday evening. The organization, though, said Jackson was dehydrated and somewhat confused

Billy Jackson, 69, was last seen boarding a METRO train on Fannin near Rice University on Tuesday morning, but he never made it home.
Jackson’s family said he is almost blind and his eyes were dilated when he disappeared.
