Silver Alert discontinued after man last seen driving in Azle is found

The Parker County Sheriff’s Office is looking for Loyad Frederick Scott, 78, who was last seen at 10:50 a.m. Friday on Reynolds Drive in Azle. He was driving a silver 2014 Subaru Forester with Texas license plate number CMP3067. 

Scott is described as a white male with gray hair and blue eyes. He is 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs 200 pounds, authorities said. He was last seen wearing two hats, a blue button-down shirt, a blue jacket and beige pants.

Officials said they believe Scott’s disappearance is a threat to his health and safety.

Anyone with information about Scott’s location should contact the Parker County Sheriff’s Office at 817-594-3213.

Silver Alert issued for North Richland Hills man who may be in early stages of Alzheimer’s

James Booth was last seen in the area of Mid Cities Boulevard and Ice House Drive on Wednesday at 9 a.m., after he left the house for an appointment he never showed up for.

Booth was last seen wearing a dark green sweater over a beige sweater, and he is described by police as a white male with white hair and blue eyes. He is 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs 165 pounds, police said.

He was driving a white 2017 Toyota Corolla with license plate JHC2212, police said. He doesn’t have a cellphone with him.

Police said they were working to gather necessary documentation from Booth’s family members to send out a Silver Alert through the Texas Department of Public Safety.

Anyone who sees Booth or knows of his location is asked to call 911 or the North Richland Hills Police Department at 817-281-1000.

Missing person alert

Blevins, who is pregnant, is 27 years old; 5 feet, 9 inches tall; and about 170 pounds with blue eyes and reddish/blonde hair. Authorities are concerned for her welfare due her medical condition and the cold weather.

It is believed she has no phone, car, money or extra clothing. She was last seen wearing a light gray winter coat with a white scarf and dark pants.

4-year-old Lowcountry girl missing since Tuesday. Here’s why there was no Amber Alert

After 4-year-old Heidi Renae Todd’s mother was found “brutally beaten” and the child was reported missing from her Johns Island home on Tuesday, the Charleston Police Department asked for the public to be on the look out.

But many commenters on social media questioned why S.C. Law Enforcement Division did not issue an Amber Alert for the child.

There are just still too many unknowns in the case, Charleston Mayor John Tecklenburg told reporters when asked about an Amber Alert in a news conference on Wednesday.

“You have to have enough information to tell people what to look for,” he said.

Amber Alert: Authorities search for missing Texas toddler

UPDATE: The Amber Alert has been discontinued, Texas DPS reports that 2-year-old Amia Blanton has been found. 

An Amber Alert has been issued for a 2-year-old Texas girl.

Amia Blanton was last seen wearing a pink and green Nike jacket, green sweatpants and brown boots with fur lining. She has a scar on her right eyebrow. She was last seen in Mesquite, Texas.

Law enforcement officials are also looking for Levita Grant in connection with the child’s disappearance. According to National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, Grant has hair in braids and was last seen wearing a gray jacket and black pants.

Grant is believed to be in a white 2016 Nissan Versa with a Texas license plate of GWK2818.

(KRON/WATE) – Clicking on a video making its rounds on social media throughout multiple states could land you in hot water.

The video, sent via Facebook Messenger, contains child pornography content. Users who received the video have been warned by local law enforcement: do not share any links or videos received, even if it is as a warning.

“When we look at child pornography as pictures or videos of a crime. The possession of itself is illegal. If you see something like that, while it’s good to report it,” said Lt. Warren Hamlin with the Knoxville Police Department Crimes Against Children Unit.
