Gardaí appeal for assistance in two separate missing person cases …

Gardaí in Dublin are seeking the public’s assistance in two separate missing person cases. 

Shane Travers, 38, was last seen at St. James Hospital at 2pm on Monday, December 18. 

He’s described as 5’8″ in height, of medium build, with blue eyes and brown receding hair.

When last seen, he was wearing a black jacket, black cotton tracksuit bottoms and black runners.

Meanwhile, Jason Collins, 16, was last seen in the Blanchardstown Retail Park at around 1.45pm on Saturday, December 16. 

He is described as being 5’4″ with short brown hair and blue eyes and of slim build.

When last seen he was wearing a black Nike runners, grey tracksuit bottoms, black zip up top, white t-shirt and red hoodie under the zip up.

Anyone with information in either case is asked to contact Gardaí.

Harrisonburg Police Seek Assistance Identifying Assault Suspect

Harrisonburg Police Department Press Release:

Harrisonburg, VA – On November 6, officers with the Harrisonburg Police Department (HPD) responded to JC Penny at 1925 East Market Street for an assault call for service. A female employee had been pepper sprayed by a customer who was confronted about an alleged shoplifting.

The victim was medically evaluated and suffered temporary injury associated with the pepper spray. The suspect has been described as a black female approximately five feet five inches tall to five feet six inches tall.

The suspect is said to weigh approximately 220 pounds with her hair braided up on the back of her head in the shape of a “U.” The suspect was last seen fleeing from the north side of the store and getting into a small grey sedan, possibly a Honda or Kia. At the time of the incident she was wearing a white shirt with blue jeans and carrying

Police Seek Public’s Assistance After Sexual Assault in Shirlington

The Arlington County Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance to find a man suspected of sexually assaulting a woman in Shirlington last night (Thursday).

Police responded to the area of S. Randolph Street at 31st Street S. at approximately 10:41 p.m. on November 2 for the report of a rape. Officer said the victim was putting items in her parked car when a man approached her from behind and sexually assaulted her. He then fled on foot.

The area is near The Citizen at Shirlington apartment building and the Shirlington bus station.

St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office ask for Public’s Assistance in Stolen Bike Case

On Friday, September 22, 2017, at approximately 7:40 pm, unknown suspect(s) stole a red, white, and black Trek brand, Top Fuel model 9.9 men’s mountain bike from the rack attached to a gray Jeep Wrangler.

The Jeep was parked in the public parking located between The Front Porch restaurant and The Hair Company, in Leonardtown, at the time of the theft.

The bike is valued at approximately $8,000.00

Police seek public’s assistance in identifying suspect in commercial burglaries

HOPEWELL — On Sept. 25, at 3:45 a.m., officers responded to the Family Dollar, located at 1033 Elm St., in reference to an alarm activation. Responding officers subsequently located a broken front glass door to the business. The preliminary investigation revealed that the offender had forced entry into the business, activated the alarm system and subsequently fled prior to police arrival.

Approximately 45 minutes later, officers responded to the SN Market located at 3420 Courthouse Road, in reference to a citizen’s report of glass breaking. Upon arrival, officers discovered one of the front glass doors had been shattered. Further investigation revealed that the offender had forced entry into the business, removed an undetermined amount of Newport cigarettes and fled the business prior to police arrival.

A review of the security cameras from both businesses revealed that the same offender was involved in both incidents. The offender

Police Seek Public’s Assistance Locating Sex Offender Involved in Attempted Shooting in Lexington Park

UPDATE: On September 5, 2017, St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office patrol deputies responded to St. Mary’s Square, located at 21600 Great Mills Road in Lexington Park, Maryland, for the report of an attempted shooting in the parking lot.

Officers made contact with an adult victim who was not injured from the shooting. The investigation was continued by detectives from the Criminal Investigations Division (CID).

The investigation revealed the victim encountered Devonte Arnez Shubrooks, 24, of no fixed address, in the area of the businesses on a nearby sidewalk. The victim and Shubrooks became engaged in a heated argument. During the argument, Shubrooks got inside of a vehicle, and as the vehicle was leaving the area, Shubrooks began shooting at the victim while he was standing on the sidewalk. The victim was
