Eight men in federal custody on child sex trafficking charges

FORT WORTH – Eight men are in federal custody on child sex trafficking charges as outlined in a federal criminal complaint filed last week, announced U.S. Attorney John Parker of the Northern District of Texas. 

The following individuals were charged and have made their initial appearances before U.S. Magistrate Judge Jeffrey L. Cureton:

  • Pierre Lagrone, aka “P” or “Pedro,” 33
  • Robert Roseberry, aka “King Rose,” 29
  • Herman Sanders, aka “Pooh,” 29
  • Reginald Smith, aka “Green Light,” 28
  • Demarcus Davis, aka “Zigg,” 25
  • Kentrell Davis, aka “Zeal,” 24
  • Cederrick Clarkson, aka “Ced” or “Spazz,” 25
  • Terroderick Watts, aka “Silk,” 27

They have been remanded to custody pending additional court hearings.

New charges filed against Springfield man accused of online chat group for child pornography

The U.S. Attorney for western Missouri announced additional charges have been filed against a Springfield man, accused of managing an online chat group to share child pornography.

Anthony Cotter, 30, of Springfield, was charged in a two-count indictment returned by a federal grand jury in Jefferson City, Mo. The indictment replaces a federal criminal complaint that was filed against Cotter on Oct. 5, 2017, and includes an additional charge.

Today’s indictment alleges that Cotter used a minor, identified as Jane Doe #1, to produce child pornography from Jan. 1, 2015, to Oct. 5, 2017. The indictment also includes the original charge against Cotter of receiving and distributing child pornography over the Internet.

Former Minn. hockey coach faces 11 child pornography charges

Bradley Christopher Alsaker, 33, was arraigned Monday in Swift County District Court on the 13 felony charges. His next court appearance will be Dec. 18 in Benson.

Alsaker also faces a felony charge for possessing firearms after being convicted of a crime. According to court records, along with a juvenile second-degree assault charge, Alsaker has a 2008 conviction for domestic assault and a 2006 conviction for criminal sexual conduct in the fifth degree, non-consensual contact.

Alsaker has been released on his personal recognizance with conditions since he was first charged with the solicitation charges in June.

Alsaker has previously served as rink manager and hockey coach in Benson and was on the board of the Benson Hockey Association when he was charged.

PGPD charges suspect with attempted murder in off-campus shooting

An initial investigation shows two suspects and one of the victims getting into an argument during a drug transaction, which led to the shooting, according to the news release. The second victim was injured during the incident, and one of the victims was also robbed, according to police.

Lakeview man arrested on child porn charges

A 57-year-old Lakeview man faces 34 charges of possessing matter depicting child sex, according to a recently filed affidavit.

Ronald Mitchell was arrested by the Arkansas State Police after they investigated a tip received from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. Mitchell was released from the Baxter County jail after posting a $10,000 bond.

The NCME forwarded the tip to the Internet Crimes Against Children division of the Arkansas State Police. The tip included an IP address of a user that allegedly uploaded an image of suspected child pornography.

The image reportedly depicted two naked female juveniles holding hands, according to the affidavit. State police through prosecutors secured a subpoena signed by a judge to command the internet provider to divulge the specific user’s identity.
