Two questioned in South Knoxville murder following chase on I-40 – WBIR

Knoxville police took two people into custody in the murder of a 27-year-old South Knoxville man last Sunday.

Police said they took Phillip Jerome Locke into custody to be interviewed by investigators. Locke was also served with an outstanding violation of parole warrant and is being held without bond. He is not facing charges in the homicide at this time.

Shaniquia Robinson is suspected of driving the car that led officers on a chase down I-40 and I-640 around 1 p.m. on Tuesday.

The vehicle was stopped on Divide Street where both her and Locke were taken into custody. She is facing charges of Felony Evading Arrest, Driving on a Suspended License and Failure to Exercise Due Care.

Chevy Chase Man Accused of Placing Hidden Camera in Kids’ Gymnastics Center

Police say downloaded videos of children urinating were on his computer but were not recorded locally

A Chevy Chase man is accused of placing a camera in a unisex bathroom at a Silver Spring gymnastics center for kids, police said Friday.

Jonathan Oldale, 54, of Greystone Court, allegedly left a backpack containing a recording camera in the bathroom of Silver Star Gymnastics and Fitness Club in May, according to Montgomery County police. His children were enrolled in classes there, police said.

After searching his computer, police found videos of children urinating in bathrooms, but said they believe he downloaded them and did not record them. Detectives have not located any videos of people being recorded in the Silver Spring gymnastics studio.

An employee of the Pitman Drive club called police May 5 to report a “suspicious situation,” according to police.

Suspect shot by cop during Chesterfield chase charged in second bank robbery

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. — The bank robbery suspect wounded by an officer during a chase in Chesterfield County Wednesday afternoon is facing a number of charges, including holding up a second bank back in September.

Officials said officers were dispatched for a report of an armed robbery at the Argent Federal Credit Union at 1901 Walmart Way around 2:30 p.m.

Chesterfield police spokeswoman Elizabeth Caroon said the suspect, 45-year-old Allen E. Piner of the 7900 block of Provincetown Drive in Chesterfield, pulled out a gun and demanded cash before running off with an undisclosed amount of money.

Police gave chase after spotting a vehicle with a driver matching the description of the suspect. That pursuit came to an end about four miles away along the 9400 block of Midlothian Turnpike in a field near Pearson Hyundai.

Video taken outside Pearson Hyundai showed police speeding through the car dealership’s parking lot.

Police chase dozens of tips in search for missing Camas teen

CAMAS, Wash. — The search continued Monday for a missing Camas teen last seen at school Thursday.

“It’s been non-stop for anybody that’s closely involved, since Thursday,” said Amy Hoffman, a close friend of the Burbank family.

Thursday is when 16-year-old Cole Burbank was last seen. A surveillance camera captured him leaving Camas High School that morning. He was on his way to Clark College for Running Start classes. He made it there, but soon after around noon, his phone stopped giving out a signal. His car, a 2010 black Honda Accord, hasn’t been seen either.
