FBI: 17 Children Rescued, 4 Pimps Caught in Colorado and Wyoming

A nationwide law enforcement effort focused on underage human trafficking has led to the rescue of scores of minors as well as the arrest of over 100 traffickers across the country, including Wyoming and Colorado.

In total, the 11th iteration of Operation Cross Country resulted in the recovery of 84 minors and the arrest of 120 traffickers across the country. Seventeen of those children were recovered in 33 law enforcement operations across Colorado and Wyoming from OCt. 12-15.

Fort Wayne man arrested in Colorado internet child exploitation case

A collaborative investigation involving police agencies in Indiana and Colorado resulted in a Fort Wayne man being arrested Tuesday on a nationwide extradition arrest warrant for child exploitation charges.

Corey S. Hall, 33, was arrested about 5 p.m. Tuesday at his job in Fort Wayne and was being held in the Allen County Jail without bond pending his extradition to Colorado to face the charges, an Indiana State Police news release said.

Hall allegedly communicated via the internet with a minor girl using Kik, Skype and Snapchat as far back as January of 2016, the news release said. The two reportedly sent hundreds of explicit photos and almost two dozen videos between them.

The Parker Police Department in Parker, Colo., began an investigation into the matter, and investigators with the Indiana Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force also obtained and executed a search warrant March 9 at Hall’s residence in the 6000

Former pro, current Colorado Rapids color analyst Jordan Angeli is doing what she’s always loved: Performing

Jordan Angeli spent four years with her close-ups in the national spotlight as a professional soccer player. But cleats were exchanged for makeup and mike checks last June as she transitioned into television broadcasting for the Rapids as host of “Colorado Rapids Live.”

And this year, her voice has become a staple across Denver’s air waves.

Angeli, a 2004 graduate of Lakewood’s Green Mountain High School, has worked as a radio color analyst for Rapids home games this season alongside play-by-play commentator Conor McGahey on Altitude Sports Radio AM 950, on top of her game host duties from a year ago.

“To be asked as a female to call a man’s MLS game speaks to how much the game has grown in the U.S.,” Angeli said. “I’m just really thrilled I get to do this.”

Angeli is on the field at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park for pregame broadcasts, goes to the radio booth to

Lingering taxi placards a reminder of Colorado Springs cold case that mother will never forget

She pleaded for any bit of information to make sense of the 2004 homicide, which remains unsolved. She made a promise: She’ll never stop trying to put the pieces together. It’s a promise she keeps today.

Brandon’s face continues to roam Colorado Springs on the back of taxis cabs, years after Marla said she stopped paying for the advertisement. Each time she sees one, she’s encouraged that Brandon is not forgotten, and someone, somewhere, knows the answer to the cab poster’s question: “Do you know who killed me?”

“You never know who is going to happen upon one,” Marla said. “It’s exciting they’re still up.”

Brandon Browne was shot to death in 2004. His killing remains unsolved.

Brandon is one of about 90 unsolved homicides in Colorado Springs, dating back to 1949, and one of 1,800 across the state.

His story has been told numerous times by the
