Crews searching for missing Eureka couple last seen December 30

TOOELE COUNTY, Utah — Crews are out searching for a teenage Utah couple who hasn’t been seen in almost a week.

It’s been six days since anyone has seen or heard from 17-year-old Breezy Otterson and 18-year-old Riley Powell.

The couple was in Tooele visiting family for the holidays. Their plan was to leave Tooele on Saturday, December 30, stop in Spanish Fork, and then drive back to Eureka where the couple lives with Powell’s father. However, Otterson’s aunt, Amanda Hunt, says the couple never made it to Spanish Fork.

“They were right outside of Spanish Fork is what Riley said and that was the last contact,” Hunt said.

The family reported the couple missing to the Juab County Sheriff’s Office on Tuesday. Undersheriff Brent Pulver says they’ve deployed the search and rescue team.

“We have had several leads come in, some of them with drastically different narratives. We’ve been following up on all of

7 New Additions to Watch on Netflix in December

Every month, Netflix takes some of its offerings away from its streaming service, but in return, we get several new things to watch as well. Of course, that trade isn’t always an equal one. December saw the departure of 11 seasons of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia and Young Frankenstein, so the new offerings would need to be solid indeed to fill that gap.

There are a few things that stand out on the list of new arrivals, from Netflix originals to both newer and older movies. Here are a few suggestions as to what you should check out in December.

Bright

The trailer for Bright caught everyone’s attention when it was first shown off back in July. The Netflix original film stars Will Smith as an LAPD officer in a world that’s similar to ours, except that it is also inhabited by fairies,

Grading What’s Coming to and Leaving Netflix in December

Around this time every month, the powers that be at Netflix release their list of what’s coming to and leaving the platform in the month to follow. It’s a time to reflect. A time of mourning. A time of hope.

To help you wade through that emotional soup, and help you decide what to watch in the weeks to come, we’re putting together the Monthly Netflix Report Card, a highly scientific, yet mostly arbitrary, very subjective assessment of the streaming giant’s gains and losses.

The final grade will take into account the three biggest gains in the Netflix original movies and shows/comedy specials, as well as the three biggest gains and losses in standard movies and shows/comedy specials. As months go on, we’ll look to improve our criteria as much as possible.
