HOUSTON – An organization that has spent nearly two decades searching for missing people across the Houston area and other parts of the world now is looking for the culprits who hacked its email system.

The intrusion into EquuSearch’s server is more than just an inconvenience.

BAY CITY, Texas – Texas EquuSearch will begin a search for missing Bay City man on Sunday, officials said.

Michael Frick, 66, was last seen in Bay City. Officials said he has gray, wavy hair and that it is much longer than what’s in his picture, investigators said. He also sports a full beard.

Texas EquuSearch: Missing 17-year-old Wilson Stratton found safe

HOUSTON —   Wilson Stratton, the 17-year-old who went missing Sunday afternoon, has been found safe, Texas EquuSearch confirms.

The teen was found in the 700 block of North Shepherd Monday afternoon. He’s being checked out at Texas Children’s Hospital.

Stratton had been missing for 10 days with no money, no cell phone, no additional clothing.  His disappearance brought an entire community together on foot to search for him using flyers and social media.

Dad Stan Stratton told NewsFix his son has been struggling emotionally over the death of his mother.  The older Stratton worried his son’s trusting nature may have been both a blessing and a curse in this situation. He feared the teen would accept help from folks that did not have his best interest at heart.

Stratton also told NewsFix he felt especially blessed to have so much support here and elsewhere in the country.

Texas EquuSearch called in to search for a missing 17-year-old River Oaks boy

His family said it is out of character for their son to disappear, which is why Wilson Stratton’s parents are worried.

This is reportedly the 10th day of the 17-year-old missing, last seen at a River Oaks gas station near Westheimer and Willowick.

The 5-foot, 4-inch teen is described as weighing approximately 165 pounds, with “light facial acne.”

His parents said they last saw him wearing a “green and white fishing shirt, gray gym shorts and white tennis shoes,” calling in Texas Equusearch to help bring him home.

This morning, organization officials reportedly met at East Briar Hollow Lane to brief the media before setting off on a search, welcoming volunteers to help with their efforts, which they said may cover “treacherous terrain.”

Missing River Oaks teen found safe, according to Equusearch … – KTRK

Texas EquuSearch has found 17-year-old Wilson Stratton.

According to reports, he was found on the street in the 7000 block of North Shepherd.

Stratton is headed to Texas Children’s Hospital to be checked out.

Searchers and law enforcement received tips of sightings.

Investigators say they were able to coordinate sightings with surveillance video, giving them a general idea of Stratton’s location.

“Buddy, you know what we’re going to get through this. There’s nothing that love and God’s love can’t solve, so that’s all you need to remember,” said Stan Stratton in a conversation with his son.
