Friends, family pray for safe return of Bay St. Louis teen missing 15 …

Melanie Bradford fears that her 16-year-old Courtlee Ann Hilton, is being held somewhere against her will.

The teenager disappeared Sunday, Oct. 1, from a friend’s house in Long Beach.

“It has been 15 days and she has not contacted one single family member or one single friend, and that is not like her,” Bradford said in an interview Sunday.

Mother and daughter had their differences, so much so that her mother had taken away Courtlee’s cell phone and she had been staying for five days before her disappearance with her friend’s family in Long Beach, with her mother’s permission.

But mom and daughter were in touch daily, Bradford said. They were trying to work out their differences.

Courtlee, her mother said, is smart, artistic and athletic. She has been running varsity track since the seventh grade and was for two years a regional champion. She loves to paint and, like most

Another day Saturday ended without a sign of Brady, the hound mix that broke out of a crate Wednesday prior to her Delta Airlines flight from Tampa International Airport.

  • Brady escaped from crate at Tampa airport Wednesday

  • PREVIOUS STORY: Search continues for dog lost at Tampa International Airport

Christie Pennell said volunteers joined she and her family in putting up posters along Hillsborough Avenue and searching the area surrounding the airport.

“I think we really just underestimated what this would be like,” Pennell said. “We’re just going minute by minute at this point, we’re just praying and hoping.”

Brady was being flown to Bermuda to be with her family, who recently moved there. She was being loaded onto the plane when she escaped. There was a possible sighting Saturday at Stop In Tavern on South Avenue.

Lamonte McIntyre hearing: innocent man imprisoned, family, experts …

On the day Lamonte McIntyre was sentenced to consecutive life terms in prison, he said just 13 words to the court:

“Judge, I would like to tell the court that I’m innocent. That’s all.”

On Thursday, more than two decades later, McIntyre’s family and friends poured into a Wyandotte County courtroom for a hearing that has called into question his conviction.

McIntyre, now 41, smiled at the approximately 50 friends and relatives who had assembled in the courtroom as he entered.

He’s an innocent man who has languished in prison for 23 years, his loved ones say. In a rally outside the courthouse beforehand, they cried: “I say free, you say Lamonte.”

“Free!”

“Lamonte!”

‘Please just bring him home’: Family of missing Toronto-area man …

The search for a 38-year-old father of two from Markham, Ont. is yielding few answers as the family grows increasingly desperate.

The family of Eugene Kim spent the weekend handing out hundreds of missing person posters and plastering them all over Algonquin Park, where witnesses saw him purchase a camp pass a few days ago.

On Sunday, hundreds joined in prayer for Kim’s safe return. His family and friends have started a volunteer search group and even rented a helicopter to scour the Algonquin area, but the search thus far has turned up dry.

Kim was last seen Monday morning after dropping off his two children — a six-year-old boy and a two-year-old girl –at school in Thornhill, Ont.

“He does not want to be away from us,” Christine Kim, Eugene’s wife, told CTV Toronto Sunday. “(My children) miss their father so much. Please just bring him home.”

Kim, who works in corporate wireless sales,

“We have forgiveness in our hearts” Billie family finds peace with daughter’s death

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. –  The family of Ashanti Billie is continuing their search for answers in her disappearance and death.

The 19-year-old from Maryland disappeared from Virginia Beach two weeks ago. Her body was identified more than 300 miles away in North Carolina over the weekend. While this wasn’t the outcome the family was hoping for, they have a message for whoever is responsible for her death.

“I forgive them. I have forgiveness in my heart and I’ll allow God to deal with that,” said Meltony Billie, Ashanti’s father. “We just want to have closure for her. We want justice. We want it to be made known that you can’t get way with doing stuff like this.”

Ashanti disappeared on September 18. Her body was found 11 days later behind a church in Charlotte, North Carolina. The family says they are finding comfort in where her body was discovered.

“We see it as, because

DOVER A family is seeking help to find their son, a Newmarket man, last seen in Dover on Monday, Sept. 25.

Brycen Robert Rylan Couture, 23, has health issues that need attending and his parents are frantic to locate him.

I am trying to stay calm so I can keep thinking straight, said Laurie Couture, Brycens mother. If I dont stay calm, I will collapse on the floor shaking.

Brycen is 23, but Couture said he is on the autism spectrum, has post-traumatic stress disorder and a cardiac issue that can result in blackouts. Couture said she adopted him when he was 11 from a family situation in Maine.

I love him and he is my son, said Laurie. We have involved his birth family now, too, in case they see him. I spoke with him on Monday (Sept. 25) and he
