Wormwood: first trailer for new Netflix thriller

In the ‘reality is stranger than fiction’ files, no story may be more surreal and unbelievable than the CIA’s MK-ULTRA experiments.

The American government’s effort into LSD, mind control and many other nefarious, arguably supernatural endeavors has made a good backdrop for many a science fiction story. Now, with the help of Netflix’s massive true crime industrial complex, the real story of MK-ULTRA will be in the spotlight.

Wormwood is a six-part true crime series about the death of a CIA employee Dr. Frank Olson. The series will explore the causes of Olson’s mysterious death by blending fact and fiction and combining documentary elements with a scripted narrative, starring Peter Sarsgaard.

The first official trailer for the show gives us an idea of just what that will look like…

Well, it looks cool! Combining documentary footage with re-enactments is always a dicey proposition, but something about the bleak Fincher-esque drama at play there, combined

History’s Lost Transoceanic Voyages: Tamils and Sumerians Among the FIRST to Reach Australia and Antarctica …

Regarding interesting inscriptions and shapes found by satellite archaeology, revealing what might be ancient human occupation on the continent of Antarctica, author William James Veall writes that epigrapher, educator and anthropologist, Dr Clyde Winters, Ph.D. was of the opinion: “ I have looked at the inscriptions from Australia and they appear to be written in TAMIL.”

On Plate 5, Dr Winters wrote: “It was unlikely that there was any connection between Hanuman and the Indus Valley, because monkey figures do not appear on Indus Valley seals.”

He further stated, “I believe this is a human figure. It would appear that these heads are leaders from various Sumerian centers that formerly existed on Antarctica.”

“These people were probably from the Sumerian colony in South America, called Kuga Ki.”

Mother of First Coast missing teen seeks help for daughter; all runaways

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – One of the worst feelings for a parent is believing your child may be in danger and that feeling doesn’t go away once the child is a teenager.

Sixty-five percent of all reported missing persons in Jacksonville are between the ages of 13 and 17, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office. Many are labeled habitual runaways.

Alicia Miller has a daughter who falls into both categories. Her 17-year-old daughter ran away from home on September 24, was located, and then ran away again October 12. Miller has not heard from her since.

“I won’t allow myself to feel hopeless, I won’t,” Miller says. “I’ve contacted so many people to try and help find my daughter.”

Miller knows she’s not the only parent searching, but she

Move over Making a Murderer, this is the new true-crime Netflix series we’ll be binge-watching.

Netflix has released the trailer for Alias Gracea six-episode series following the story of Grace Marks.

It will come exclusively to Netflix on 3 November.

Alias Grace is based on Margaret Atwood’s award-winning novel.

The six-hour miniseries follows Grace Marks, a poor, young Irish immigrant and domestic servant in Upper Canada who, along with stable hand James McDermott, was convicted of the brutal murders of their employer, Thomas Kinnear, and his housekeeper, Nancy Montgomery, in 1843.

James was hanged while Grace was sentenced to life imprisonment.

Grace became one of the most enigmatic and notorious women of 1840s Canada for her supposed role in the sensational double murder, and was eventually exonerated after 30 years in jail.

Her conviction was controversial, and sparked much debate about whether Grace was actually involved in the

First Trailer For Errol Morris’ Netflix Show Wormwood Is A Trippy Look At The CIA’s LSD Trials

You can see a brief tease of those “unconventional re-enactments” in the above trailer. The footage doesn’t paint too broad a picture, but it gives a decent idea of what viewers are in for. The LSD-induced trippy visuals look to be on point, and they should make for a show that is at least visually captivating. The cast of actors starring in the docudrama includes Peter Sarsgaard, Molly Parker, Christian Camargo, Scott Shepherd, Tim Blake Nelson, Bob Balaban, Jimmi Simpson and Michael Chernus.

Netflix Investigates the CIA’s Secrets in First Wormwood Trailer

Netflix has released the first trailer for Wormwood, its upcoming documentary-scripted hybrid series. The six-part show, due out Dec. 15, chronicles the CIA’s deadly LSD experiments that ran from 1953 to 1964. The program, known as MK-ULTRA, involved testing the effects of the drug on hundreds of unsuspecting American civilians and military personnel. Sex workers lured in unwitting johns for undisclosed testing, narcotics agents slipped drugs into drinks, and a U.S. marshal held up a San Francisco bar not knowing he was high on acid.

Wormwood is anchored by the true story of Frank Rudolph Olson, a CIA employee who plunged to his death from a New York hotel room in 1953 after being given LSD without his knowledge. His sons, Eric and Nils Olson, filed a suit against the government in 2012, though his death has been described as both a suicide and a murder. The project is said to follow the “twisting, evolving story of
