Silver Alert discontinued after man last seen driving in Azle is found

The Parker County Sheriff’s Office is looking for Loyad Frederick Scott, 78, who was last seen at 10:50 a.m. Friday on Reynolds Drive in Azle. He was driving a silver 2014 Subaru Forester with Texas license plate number CMP3067. 

Scott is described as a white male with gray hair and blue eyes. He is 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs 200 pounds, authorities said. He was last seen wearing two hats, a blue button-down shirt, a blue jacket and beige pants.

Officials said they believe Scott’s disappearance is a threat to his health and safety.

Anyone with information about Scott’s location should contact the Parker County Sheriff’s Office at 817-594-3213.

11-year-old boy missing from Austin found – Chicago Sun

An 11-year-old boy who went missing Wednesday afternoon from the West Side Austin neighborhood has been located.

Lil Jerry Hyles was last seen about 4 p.m. Wednesday, according to a missing person alert from Chicago Police. He was reported missing from the 700 block of North Menard.

He was found “safe and sound” on Thursday and was returned to his family, police said. Further details were not provided.

Indiana man found after he went missing in New Orleans during …

Update: Michael Stanley was found in good condition Wednesday evening (Feb. 21), according to an 8:13 p.m. alert from New Orleans police.

The relative of a 27-year-old Indiana man said he went missing last week in New Orleans while in town for Mardi Gras. New Orleans police received a missing person’s report on Michael Stanley, of Plainfield, Ind., on Tuesday night (Feb. 20), NOPD spokeswoman Ambria Washington said Wednesday.  

Elaine Reeder, Stanley’s aunt, said in an email her nephew was with friends in New Orleans for Mardi Gras, got separated from the friends and then did not return to Indiana with them. He was last seen Feb. 12 in New Orleans, she said.

A missing person flier provided by Reeder says Stanley is 5-foot-10, weighs about 190 pounds, and has brown hair and brown eyes. The flier, which lists a contact at his hometown sheriff’s office, says he was last spotted about 11:40 p.m. Feb. 12 at

Police: Child found safely, but wanted Harrisonburg man still on the …

HARRISONBURG, Va. (WHSV) — UPDATE (Feb. 20):

According to the Harrisonburg Police Department, a child who they believed was with a man on the run has been found and is now safe with family.

Cesar Ruben Mujica, the 24-year-old man police were seeking, is still wanted, however.

Police say he faces charges including breaking and entering, grand larceny, and assault.

He was last seen in Harrisonburg on Sunday evening.

Police are thanking the public for their assistance so far in locating the child, and encourage anyone with information about Mujica’s whereabouts to contact local law enforcement,

Missing Irvine man, 80, has been found

IRVINE — An 80-year-old man suffering from dementia who went missing in Irvine was located, authorities said today.

“Mr. Ching Yang has been located. He is alive and being reunited with his family,” Irvine police posted on Twitter early this morning. “We appreciate everyone’s help in locating him.”

Tun Yang Ching disappeared about 4 p.m. Sunday at 99 Ranch Market on Culver, Irvine police said.

Friends Say Missing Lyft Driver Found in Hospital After Police Located His Car in Koreatown

An Uber and Lyft driver who went missing more than a week ago after dialing 911 has been found alive after a Nissan Altima linked to him was located in Koreatown, police confirmed Tuesday.

The car’s location, in the 100 block of South Kingsley Drive, was about 3 miles from where police say 29-year-old Joshua Thiede was last seen on Feb. 11 leaving his apartment in the 1000 block of Wilshire Boulevard in downtown Los Angeles.

The 29-year-old’s family says phone records show his last call was to 911 the next afternoon, but the caller hung up and no information was relayed to the operator.
