Suspect in abduction of Texas girls after mother’s death seen in Colorado

A man suspected in the abduction of two girls whose mother may have been murdered in Texas was spotted on surveillance camera states away in Colorado, police said Wednesday.

Terry Allen Miles, 44, can be seen in surveillance video at a business in Trinidad, Colorado, from Dec. 30 — the day before police found Miles’ roommate, Tonya Bates, dead in her home, Round Rock Police Department Chief Allen Banks said at a news conference Wednesday.

“We were able to obtain video surveillance from a local business in Trinidad and we able to positively identify Terry Allen Miles in that business,” Banks said. He declined to name the establishment.

Police searching for two missing girls after mother’s ‘suspicious’ death

Police on Tuesday were searching for the two missing daughters of a woman found dead in her home in Texas over the weekend.

Police found Tonya Bates, 44, dead in her home Sunday after conducting a welfare check, according to Round Rock Police Department Chief Allen Banks.

Bates’ death was “of a suspicious nature,” Banks said at a Monday news conference. During their investigation officers found that her daughters, Lilianais Griffith, 14, and Luluvioletta Bandera-Magret, 7, were missing, he said. The two girls lived with their mother.

Amber alert for 2 missing Texas girls who may have been kidnapped: report

Amber Alerts have been issued for two missing Texas girls who may have been abducted by a 44-year-old man with a criminal history and ties to southwestern Louisiana, according to reports by ABC News and Lake Charles-based KPLC-7.

Luluvioletta Bandera-magret, 7, and Lilianais Griffith, 14, were last seen Saturday (Dec. 30) in their hometown of Round Rock, about 20 miles north of Austin, the news stations report.

Authorities say the girls may have been kidnapped by 44-year-old Terry Miles, whose relationship to the girls was not immediately clear.

According to the report by KPLC-7, Miles is a person of interest in the suspicious death of a Round Rock woman. His criminal history includes a 2011 second-degree murder arrest in Sulphur, near Lake Charles.

Original Story: The Birmingham, Alabama Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating Abigail and A’Mareyia Gamble.

ALEA says Abigail Gamble is a 4-year-old black female and A’Mareyia Gamble is a 3-year-old black female. The two girls were last seen on 24 December 2017 in Birmingham, Alabama.

Abigail and A’Mareyia Gamble are believed to be with their non-custodial mother, Arquesha Gamble, according to ALEA officials.
