Aberdeen Police issue bulletin for missing man | The Olympian

The Aberdeen Police Department issued a missing person alert Monday for a salal picker who hasn’t been seen for six weeks.

Apolinar Oporto-Chacon, 33, who is known as “Polo,” was last seen heading out to work on Nov. 24, and has not been seen since, the alert stated.

He is described as 5-feet, 5-inches tall, 145 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He wears a large cross on a chain around his neck. Anyone with information on Oporto-Chacon’s whereabouts is asked to call Aberdeen Police Detective Jason Perkinson at 360-533-3180.

Satnam Lehal found after Vancouver police issue missing person’s notice

UPDATE: 9:15 a.m. — Satnam Lehal was located, the Vancouver police said in a news release.

Vancouver police are asking for the public’s help to find a missing senior.

Seventy-five-year-old Satnam Lehal was last seen on New Year’s Day at about 11 a.m., walking near Fraser Street and East 56th Avenue.

Police described Lehal as a South Asian man, 5’3″ tall, with a slender build and a short, white beard.

He was last seen wearing a turban, blue pants and a green, red and yellow shirt.

Police said Lehal appears older than he does in his photo, and that he walks with a cane.

He is known to travel around the city by walking and transit, and is also frequently present at the Ross Street Temple.

Anyone who sees Lehal is asked to call 911 and stay with him until help arrives.

Concerned family and friends issue appeal to trace Will Tiernan missing from Limerick since early hours on Tuesday

CONCERNED family and friends have issued an appeal to trace a man missing from Limerick since the early hours of Tuesday morning.

Nenagh native Will Tiernan was last seen at approximately 2am on Tuesday on Denmark Street in Limerick city.

Pals say it is “completely out of character” for the nurse not to report for rostered duty at work in Limerick.

Will had been out with colleagues at Icon nightclub on Monday and anyone with any information is asked to come forward.

They have started a widespread social media appeal and shared a picture of Will in the jumper he was wearing when last seen.

Police issue Silver Alert for missing Naugatuck teens, one with medical concerns


NAUGATUCK — Police issued a Silver Alert for a missing teen girl who has medical concerns.

Alyssa Braddock, 16, is described as being 5’7″ and 150 lbs. She has pink and blonde hair and blue eyes. She was last seen at Naugatuck High School about 1:30 p.m. on Monday.  She was wearing a Pink hoodie, black yoga pants, tan moccasins. Police said she has medical concerns.

Police also said this incident is possibly related to the missing person incident involving Jordan Edmonds, 16. Edmonds was last seen at Naugatuck High around the same time. She is 5’ 6”, 155 lbs and has brown eyes and dirty blonde long/straight hair. she possibly has a  black burgundy backpack.

I-Team: Strict standards in place to issue Amber Alerts – WTVD

With the search for Mariah Woods still underway, the ABC11 I-Team is going beyond the headline to answer questions about other missing children and the Amber Alert process.

According to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, active cases remain for at least 66 missing children in North Carolina, including Woods, who was last seen on November 26. Still, state officials sounded Amber Alerts just 11 times so far in 2017.

“If you issue too many alarms, the public’s attention span decreases,” Sgt. Mike Baker, with the North Carolina Highway Patrol, explains to ABC11. “When people are driving on the highway or watching the news at home we want to make sure that Amber Alert draws their attention.

AISD police issue arrest warrant for mother of missing student – Austin American

Thursday, 11:30 a.m. update: A 10-year-old girl, who authorities think had been abducted by her mother from Oak Hill Elementary School in Southwest Austin, is “out of Texas heading east,” according to court documents.

UPDATE: AISD police issue arrest warrant for missing student’s mother – Austin American

In a letter to parents Tuesday night, Principal Lori Komassa said Angelia Jordan, 10, has not yet been located and said the girl’s mother is being charged with interference with child custody.  School officials did not identify the woman.
