UPDATE: 24-Year-Old Waldorf Man Shot and Killed at Apartment …

UPDATE: On February 17 at 8:54 p.m., officers from the Charles County Sheriff’s Office and Troopers from the Maryland State Police La Plata Barrack responded to the 12100 block of Ell Lane in Waldorf for the report of a shooting.

Upon arrival, officers located the victim suffering from gunshot wounds to the upper body. The victim, identified as Brandon Andrew Briscoe, 24, of Waldorf, was transported to a hospital where he subsequently died.

Detectives from the Criminal Investigations Division responded to assume the investigation.

Preliminary investigation revealed that an unknown suspect approached Briscoe while he was standing outside of an apartment building. The suspect shot Briscoe several times, and then he fled on foot.

Victim found in street with gunshot wounds

HOPEWELL — On New Year’s Eve around 5:08 p.m., officers responded to the 2400 block of Wakefield Street in response to multiple reports of two people engaged in an escalating argument. Upon arrival, police found a man lying in the middle of the street, suffering from gunshot wounds.

The victim, identified as 20-year-old Zachery James Pasker of Petersburg, was transported by EMS to John Randolph Medical Center, where he later died.

The Hopewell Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Unit is investigating this homicide. Man killed in Hopewell shooting on New Year’s Eve

HOPEWELL, Va. — A homicide investigation is underway after police said a Petersburg man was fatally shot during an argument in Hopewell on New Year’s Eve.

Officers were called to the the 2400 block of Wakefield Street just before 5:10 p.m. Sunday after receiving reports of an “active and escalating argument between two subjects.”

When officers arrived, they found 20-year-old Zachery James Pasker lying in the street with gunshot-related injuries.

Police said the victim was transported to John Randolph Medical Center where he died of his injuries.

Pasker’s body was transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for autopsy, officers said.

No additional details or suspect information was released.

18-year-old man of Brandywine shot, killed in Waldorf Thursday

Updated Dec. 15 at approximately 11:45 a.m. 

An 18-year-old man of Brandywine was found dead by police in Waldorf after being shot on Holly Avenue on Dec. 14. 

The Charles County Sheriff’s Office released information that officers responded to shooting at approximately 8:25 p.m. Dec. 14. 

Upon arrival, officers located a victim not breathing and suffering from several gunshot wounds to his torso. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene and was later identified as Cameron Townsend, 18, of Brandywine.

Witnesses reported seeing a dark-colored vehicle fleeing the scene after gunshots were heard. Detectives from the Criminal Investigations Division responded to assume the investigation, according to the CCSO.
