Deputies: Suspects stole more than $3K of goods from Louisa Walmart

LOUISA COUNTY, Va. — Deputies are asking for the public’s help to identify three suspects caught on surveillance cameras stealing from a big-box store in Louisa County last weekend.

Officials posted on Facebook that the three people pictured may have information about a felony larcenies from the Walmart on Camp Creek Parkway in Zion Crossroads.

Officials said the white male and female allegedly made off with more than $550 worth of merchandise from the store last Saturday. The attached photos were taken at the Walmart and a nearby Sheetz gas station, according to deputies.

Additionally, another photo showing a black male walking through the store’s tools section is time stamped 4:51 p.m. Sunday. Deputies said that suspect stole $2500 worth of activated gift cards as well as sporting goods.

3 wanted in big-box store theft in Louisa

LOUISA COUNTY, Va. — The Louisa County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help to identify three people caught on surveillance cameras at a big-box store last Sunday.

Officials posted on Facebook that the trio may have information about a felony larceny from an unnamed store in the county.

One of the photos showing a man walking through the tools section of the store is time stamped 4:51 p.m.

“Your information may be just what it takes to solve a crime and can help keep the Louisa community safe,” officials posted.

Louisa man wanted on murder charge – Local news in Louisa …

Clifford Wood

Clifford Wood, aka Peter, 45, of Louisa is wanted on charges of second-degree murder and robbery in connection with the shooting of a man on Jefferson Highway early this morning.

Sean Houchens, 32, also of Louisa County, died of his injuries hours after he was allegedly shot multiple times by Wood at a house in the 17000 block of Jefferson Highway, in the Montpelier area. The shooting occurred at about 1:30 a.m.

Two separate incidents took place at the residence within an hour that led up to the shooting. The first incident involved the armed robbery of a victim not involved in the shooting.  A short time later the suspect came back to the residence and became involved in a domestic situation that transpired into the shooting of Houchens.
