Desperate Fairfax County family pleads for safe return of missing teen

ALEXANDRIA, VA. – A desperate family pleads for the safe return of their 16-year-old daughter and twin sister.   

Jholie Moussa was last seen by a family member on Friday afternoon at their home in the Mt. Vernon area.  

“We communicate all the time. So, the fact that I haven’t heard anything from my child, that’s not normal,” cried Syreeta Steward, Jholie’s mother. 

Steward live in Texas and flown into town to help find her daughter. Jholie and her twin sister Zhane live with their father Cyrille Moussa.  

“The last time I saw her was in my room, she was doing my hair,” said Zhane Moussa. “She stopped to text someone. After she stops, she says, ‘I have to go, I’ll be back real quick.'”

She said “real quick” several times, Zhane said.    

Jholie walked out the front door and never came back.  

Family and police searching for Justin Ramos, a disabled 27-year-old who has been missing for a week in Worcester

The family of Justin Ramos has been actively searching the Worcester area for the 27-year-old, who has been missing since the beginning of the month.

Ramos was last seen at a friend’s house on Jan. 8, according to Worcester Police Sgt. Kerry Hazelhurst. Ramos’ mother filed a missing person report with Worcester police the next day and has been in constant contact with police.

One of Ramos’ friends, Katherine Davidson, said that Ramos suffers from a mental disability and that his family is worried for his safety.

Davidson said Ramos was not far from his family’s home on Vassar Street when he went missing. He was with friends and waiting to be picked up by another friend, she said.

Reached by phone briefly on Monday, Ramos’ mother, Melissa, said she was out driving around, looking for her son.

Detectives are searching for Ramos, Hazelhurst said. Officers have checked homeless shelters, but have not found Ramos.

Silver Alert canceled, missing man found safe in Greenville

GREENVILLE, NC (WNCT)- Greenville Police say Emmanuel Kennedy was found safe and unharmed in the area of B’s Barbecue and Stantonsburg Roads early Monday morning.

A silver alert is issued for a 34-year-old, missing, endangered man, last seen in Greenville.

Police say Emmanuel Kennedy was last seen Sunday morning at 11:30 standing by the corner of 5th and Laurel Streets.

He’s believed to have cognitive impairments, is non-verbal and is unfamiliar to the area.

They say he’s only lived in Greenville for three months.

He is 5’8″, 200 pounds and has short black hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen wearing a black jacket, brown shirt, black jogging pants and white shoes.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts should contact the Greenville Police Department at 252-329-4300.

The Gainesville Police Department has issued a missing endangered person alert for an autistic woman who has been missing since early Saturday evening. 

Lesha Jackson, 23, of 4343 NW 31st Terrace, left her home around 5 p.m. on Saturday.

Jackson, who is 5-feet 10-inches tall and weighs 275 pounds, was wearing brown glasses, blue jeans, a red shirt and black shoes when she was last seen. Jackson was also wearing her hair up in a ponytail. 

Jackson’s mother told police that her daughter, who is autistic with a limited mental capacity, is afraid of police officers. 

GPD urges anyone with information about Jackson’s whereabouts to call 955-1818.
