ATF, Crime Solvers offering $3,500 reward for information on …

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — Chesterfield County Police, working with the ATF, have determined that a recent fire at an Amazon Fulfillment Center was caused by an incendiary device.

As a result, the ATF is offering a $2,500 reward for information leading to the arrest of the person responsible. Crime Solvers is also offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest.

The incident happened Friday morning when firefighters were called to the facility located in the 1900 block of Meadowville Technology Parkway for reports of smoke.

When firefighters arrived, they found the fire had already been put out and had been isolated to a shipping bin on the building’s first floor.

Nobody was injured.

ATF, Crime Solvers offering $3500 reward for information on Amazon fire

Charles County Crime Solvers Offering Cash Reward for Information on Robbery

On August 26 at 8:33 p.m., officers from the Charles County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 1100 block of Heritage Place in Waldorf for the report of a citizen robbery.

Investigation showed the victim was walking home from a store when two suspects walked up behind him and said, “Give me everything!” The victim fled but the suspects were able to push him down and assault him. The victim was able to get away and call police. Officers canvassed the area but the suspects were already gone.

Charles County Crime Solvers Offering up to $5000 Reward in Modell’s Robbery Case

Charles County Crime Solvers and the Charles County Sheriff’s Office are offering a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest of the suspects involved in a commercial armed robbery. Detectives are hoping the increased reward will prompt anyone with information to call the Crime Solvers’ tip line.

On May 4 at 6:08 p.m., officers responded to Modell’s Sporting Goods in the 3000 block of Festival Way in Waldorf for the report of a robbery. Investigation showed three females and a male entered the store carrying large handbags and a back pack. Upon entering, the suspects quickly grabbed large quantities of clothing and stuffed them inside their bags. An employee observed the suspects and called 911. Crime Solvers Offering Cash Reward for Information Leading to Suspects’ Identities

Charles County Crime Solvers is offering a cash reward for information leading to the identities and arrests of two suspects wanted in connection with a theft.

On July 24 at 1:23 p.m., the suspects entered the Home Depot in Waldorf and loaded a shopping cart with drills. They walked out of the store without paying and fled in a black passenger car.

One suspect is described as a white male in his twenties, short hair, and tattoos on both arms.

The other suspect is a black male in his 20’s and had dreadlocks.

Pet Cat Shot in La Plata – Crime Solvers Offering Cash Reward …

On Tuesday, May 2, 2017  between 8:30 and 9:00 p.m., a pet cat was found injured in the 5200 block of Colebrook Street in La Plata.

The owner originally thought the cat, Maximus, had been struck by a car, but doctors at the emergency animal clinic discovered the cat had been shot with a high-powered pellet gun. The cat’s leg was shattered and eventually had to be amputated. He is still being treated at the clinic.

Maximus is a 12-pound cat who was found by a park police officer when he was a kitten and weighed less than two pounds. He was small and jumped into the officer’s car while she was on a call. The officer kept the kitten after no one claimed him, and she and her 10-year-old daughter have cared for him ever since.

Crime Solvers Offering Cash Reward in Armed Robbery Case …

On Friday, March 31, 2017, at approximately 9:45 a.m., officers from the Charles County Sheriff’s Office responded to a gas station in the 2800 block of Crain Highway in Waldorf for the report of an armed robbery.

Investigation showed a lone male suspect entered the business and attempted to purchase a pack of cigarettes. During the course of the transaction, the man jumped over the counter, produced a weapon and ordered the employee to give him cash. After obtaining money, the suspect fled on foot.

The suspect is described as a black male in his 20’s, 5’9”, medium build, wearing a long-sleeved shirt and dark pants. He was armed with a knife.

Crime Solvers Offering Cash Reward for Identity of Theft Suspects in Charles County

Charles County Sheriff’s officers are seeking the identity of two suspects wanted in multiple thefts from autos. Surveillance footage from a home security system captured a shot of one suspect as he was walking in between cars.

On March 7 at 4:15 a.m., officers responded to the 12000 block of Sandstone Street in Waldorf after a resident called to report two people had broken into her car. While canvassing the neighborhood searching for the suspects, officers located other vehicles that had been broken into in the areas of Flagstone Street, Pipestone Place and Goldstone Court.
