As if Blink-182 would even think of performing another tune at a dear pal’s birthday party.

As if Blink-182 would even think of performing another tune at a dear pal’s birthday party.

Steve Aoki turns 40 tomorrow (November 30), but the DJ and super-producer did more than ring in his next year with friends, family, and one of his favorite bands. He turned the occasion into an opportunity to do tons of good with his Aoki Foundation, which raises funds for brain science research and regenerative medicine.

The intimate shindig boasted a small, star-studded guest list that included from Tara Reid, Fred Durst, and Aoki’s nieces, along with performances from T-Pain and the pop-punk trio (and his occasional collaborators), who delivered an acoustic rendition of “What’s My Age Again?” They raised $500,000 during the party via auction for the foundation, with the host contributing $50,000 himself to the cause.

Watch their birthday version of one of their biggest hits below. Happy birthday, Steve! Get that cake!

How ‘Search Party’ and ‘American Vandal’ Nail Millennials – The …

In the second episode of the first season of the TBS show Search Party, someone a little bit older than our protagonist, Dory, asks her a terrifying question: “What do you do?” Knowing how much weight the answer to that question is supposed to carry — how succinctly it is supposed to sum up her entire identity — she looks down at the lid of her deli coffee cup and grasps for a few words that do not sound totally pathetic. “I, uh, work as an assistant … to a lady who’s … married,” Dory (Alia Shawkat) stammers, then lets it go with a sigh. “It’s pretty meaningless. I’m just tired of things that don’t matter.”

Search Party — which returns to TBS this Sunday for a triumphantly ante-upped second season — was one of the best new shows of last year, and, perhaps more than any television show since Girls, you could hardly read a headline

A man walked into Bradley Party Variety during business hours, broke into a locked room and walked out of the store with wads of stolen cash, police said.

The burglary occurred in August, but Montgomery County police released the surveillance video and asked for help identifying the man on Wednesday.

The man entered the 6922 Arlington Road business “posing as a customer” at about 1:30 p.m. Aug. 26, according to a press release. In a surveillance video, the man can be seen walking to the back of the store into an employees-only area. He appears to force open a locked door to a room that police say contained business proceeds.

Police have

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. — A group of about 15 people are wanted for their roles in a mob-type attack at a Chesterfield house party. Police just released photos of some of the suspects in the August 10 crime.

Md. man charged with murder in 2009 graduation party shooting …

WASHINGTON — Prince George’s County police have charged a 27-year-old man with first-degree murder in the 2009 fatal shooting of a woman who had gathered with friends for a high school graduation party in Landover, Maryland.

Police said Larry Recio, of Lanham, Maryland, opened fire on a group of four people, including 19-year-old Shai Caldwell, of Bowie, shortly before midnight on June 2, 2009. Caldwell died of her injuries several hours later; the three other victims survived.

Recio has been charged with first-degree murder and several counts of attempted first-degree murder. Police said they believe he opened fire during a dispute with another group of men, and they do not believe Caldwell or the three other people who were shot were the intended victims.

Recio is currently an inmate at Hazelton Federal Correctional Institution, a medium-security federal prison in

Jim Carrey Gave a Bonkers Interview at a New York Fashion Week Party

You loved him in Ace Ventura: Pet Detective; he broke your heart in Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, and he was the unwilling reality TV star with a heart of gold in The Truman Show. But Nihilist Jim Carrey might be the best version of Jim Carrey yet.

This weekend, he showed up to Harper’s Bazaar‘s fashion week party, where he had a brilliantly weird interview with E! host Catt Saddler. Maybe he wasn’t in the mood to give another red carpet interview, or maybe something had just broken inside the actor when he told Saddler, “There’s no meaning to any of this.”

But that didn’t mean the interview was over—hell no—because Nihilist Jim Carrey went on for more than two minutes about the pointlessness of existence.

“I believe we’re a field of energy dancing for itself. And, uh… I don’t care,” he said at one point. “I
