Sioux Falls man charged with 10 counts child porn possession

A Sioux Falls man was arrested Tuesday afternoon on a warrant for possession, manufacturing and distributing child pornography.

Zachariah Jacob Schultz was indicted by a grand jury last week on 10 counts of possession, distribution and manufacturing of child pornography. He was arrested on the warrant early afternoon on Tuesday.

Police received a cyber tip of possible child pornography activity from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children in July 2016, said police spokesman Sam Clemens. A search warrant was issued in February 2017, and a laptop, thumb drives, SD cards and other electronics were seized. A delay in receiving the IP address attributes to the amount of time between the tip and the search warrant, Clemens said.

Detectives found 10
