Girl, 14, found safe after being reported missing on South Side – Chicago Sun

A 14-year-old girl reported missing earlier this week after she was last seen in the Princeton Park neighborhood on the South Side has been found, police said.

Talia Moore was last seen about 10 a.m. Monday in the 200 block of West 91st Street, according to a missing person alert from Chicago Police.

Police said Moore was located and safe Wednesday evening, but did not provide additional information.

15-year-old Chicago girl reported missing from West Rogers Park

SUN-TIMES MEDIA WIRE – A 15-year-old girl was reported missing Sunday from the West Rogers Park neighborhood on the North Side.

Calista Ortiz was last seen about 4 a.m. in the 7300 block of North Ridge, according to a missing person alert from Chicago Police. She is a student at Amundsen High School.

Ortiz was described as a Hispanic girl with a light complexion, about 5-foot-6 and 145 pounds with brown eyes and black hair, police said. She was last seen wearing a white sweatshirt with koala ears on the hood, green sweatpants and white Jordan gym shoes. She was carrying a black pack with a Jamaican flag on it.

“My heart is breaking. We are so worried. Please help any way you can!” Ortiz’s mother Anya Justanya posted on Facebook, adding that Ortiz might be with a 19-year-old man.

A statewide Amber Alert was issued Monday morning for a missing toddler in Onslow County. According to the North Carolina Department of Public Safety, authorities are searching for 3-year-old Mariah Kay Woods.

Elderly man with dementia reported missing in Whittier

Authorities are asking the public to keep an eye out for a 77-year-old Whittier man with dementia and other medical issues who went missing on Friday afternoon, Nov. 24.

Robert Neff was last seen about 4:30 p.m., when he left his home in a red Suzuki Grand Vitara with a California license plate of 4YCR119, Los Angeles County sheriff’s officials said in a written statement.

“The missing person’s family has not seen or heard from him since and are seeking the public’s help,” according to the statement.

Neff is white, 5 feet 10 inches tall, 150 pounds, with gray-and-brown hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a blue collared shirt, tan shorts, flip flops and eyeglasses.

Wichita man reported missing by Ottawa police

The Ottawa Police Department is looking for a missing person reported missing by family members and was last seen in Ottawa, Kansas on Sunday.

Twenty-four-year-old Destry Jade Sweet-Crawford, from Wichita, Kansas was last seen in Ottawa and had stayed one night at the Days Inn Motel.
He is described as a black male, 5’4” to 5’5”, 130-140 pounds with brown eyes, and black hair. He may have gauged ears but may not have the gauges in. Destry also goes by the name Greg Bates.

Destry is entered as a missing person in a national database and a flier was created by the National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs). There is no waiting period to report missing persons.

The department wants to thank Destry’s family for immediately reporting him as missing. Detectives with the department have notified law enforcement in Wichita, Kansas where Destry
