TV shows that dont need season 2

Everything needs a sequal and a season two these days it seems.

Among these are teenage suicide drama 13 Reasons Why, California murder mystery Big Little Lies, and crime thriller Making a Murderer. But do we really need to see more of these shows?

They all caused a stir on season one, with 13 Reasons Why becoming the most watched Netflix show and Liane Moriarty’s novel of the same name, Big Little lies scooping four awards at the Golden Globes and an astonishing eight Emmys last year.

Making A Murderer also picked up Primetime awards in 2016, as well as other independent accolades.

But haven’t the most interesting part of these stories already been told?

Making A Murderer season 2: everything we know so far

Making A Murderer is one of the most talked about TV shows of the past few years, and for good reason. Seriously, if you still haven’t seen it, what the hell are you waiting for?!?! We know for sure that it’s coming back for a second season on Netflix, but annoyingly, we’re not totally sure when – we just know it will be in 2018 at some point.

So what else do we know about the second series of Making A Murderer? Let’s take a look…

First things first: what’s Making A Murderer about?

Filmed over a 10-year period, Steven Avery, a DNA exoneree who, while in the midst of exposing corruption in local law enforcement, finds himself the prime suspect in photographer Teresa Halbach’s murder, despite pleading his innocence. His nephew Brendan Dassey, who has learning difficulties, then becomes involved when he appears to be coerced into

Netflix hit ‘American Vandal’ to shoot Season 2 in Portland; casting call Jan. 6

“American Vandal,” the Netflix true-crime parody about a case of male genitalia vandalism, is coming back for a second season. And this one is going to shoot in Portland.

In case you haven’t watched it yet, the first season of “American Vandal” is a satirical spin on such who-done-it series Netflix’s “Making a Murderer” and public radio’s “Serial.” But the crime in “American Vandal” isn’t grim, it’s goofy — i.e., who painted images of penises on a bunch of high school faculty cars?

“American Vandal,” created by Tony Yacenda and Dan Perrault, who were joined by showrunner Dan Lagana, became a hit for Netflix after it began streaming, on Sept. 15. Vanity Fair called it “Netflix’s Best New Show.”

Appearing at the Vulture Festival in Los Angeles, Yacenda, Perrault and Lagana shared a few tidbits about what to expect in Season 2.

From an IndieWire report on the event:

“Yacenda, Perrault,

Editorial: Tis the season to be jolly … jolly frazzled

In case you hadn’t noticed, Christmas is upon us.

It is upon us like a giant tsunami of gift-hunting; food-bingeing; crowd-negotiating, party-hopping, advert-blaring, charity-supporting festivity.

You can’t escape it, even if you put on your “Bah humbug” T-shirt. It’s over-sized, over-excited, over-the-top and over here, there and everywhere.

Tis the season to be jolly … jolly frazzled for many of us.

So as we hunker down into survival mode, it’s a case of trying to enjoy it, trying to meet the expectations of those around us (always trying to remember those less fortunate) and trying not to get too stressed.

And each year, Christmas produces some new quirk to test those survival skills.

This year it is Christmas Car Park Rage, which has been identified by those who study these things as a new and

"Making a Murderer" Season Two delayed | News | 1330 & 101.5 …

MANITOWOC, WI (WSAU) — The second season of the Netflix documentary “Making a Murderer” has been pushed back once again.

The streaming service released its monthly list of ads and drops for December with no mention of a follow up to the documentary series which chronicles the trials of Steven Avery, who spent 18 years in jail for a rape he didn’t commit. Following his release in 2003 he was sent back to prison for the murder of 25 year old Teresa Halbach. From there the series sparks the debate over if Avery and his nephew Brendan Dassey actually committed the crime or if they were set up.

Officials at Netflix have long promised a follow-up to the 2015 series that became a binge obsession. In early 2017 Vice President Cindy Holland said that new episodes would go online as soon as the series’ producers were ready, however little has been said

Season Two Of ’Mindhunter’ Will Be Filmed In 2018 And It Sounds Incredible

So, answer me this: when did it stop being unhealthy to have a fixation on serial killers?

It seems as if everyone I know is fetishising serial murderers and binging shows such as Making a Murderer, and Mindhunter.

I’m being stupid, obviously, but serial killers and programmes about them have never been more popular.

Mindhunter in particular – on Netflix and available to watch all in one gruesome sitting – takes the viewer inside the world of criminal investigation to show the process that helps catch the bad guys.

David Fincher, the director who brought us Seven and Fight Club will return to direct season two of Mindhunter (which was commissioned even before the first season aired) and has said that the focus will be on the Atlanta child murders of 1979 – 1981.

After being asked about the soundtrack, Fincher let slip to Billboard: “Next year we’re looking
