1000 Danes Accused of Child Pornography for Sharing Video of Teens

COPENHAGEN — About 1,000 adults and adolescents may face prosecution for sharing online video of two 15-year-olds having sex, and more people may be charged for spreading the images, the Danish National Police said Monday.

Consensual sex between 15-year-olds is legal in Denmark, but anyone who forwarded the video violated the law against distributing child pornography, the police explained. The two video clips — one 50 seconds long, the other 9 seconds — were shared through Facebook’s Messenger app.

The case prompted outrage when it was first reported last year, because the video appeared to show the girl being abused, penetrated with foreign objects. The girl has said that she consented to sex, but not to the abuse or to the recording.

Police issue Silver Alert for missing Naugatuck teens, one with medical concerns


NAUGATUCK — Police issued a Silver Alert for a missing teen girl who has medical concerns.

Alyssa Braddock, 16, is described as being 5’7″ and 150 lbs. She has pink and blonde hair and blue eyes. She was last seen at Naugatuck High School about 1:30 p.m. on Monday.  She was wearing a Pink hoodie, black yoga pants, tan moccasins. Police said she has medical concerns.

Police also said this incident is possibly related to the missing person incident involving Jordan Edmonds, 16. Edmonds was last seen at Naugatuck High around the same time. She is 5’ 6”, 155 lbs and has brown eyes and dirty blonde long/straight hair. she possibly has a  black burgundy backpack.

Bloody murder: Were teens wrongly convicted?

Shawn Henning sits at a long, cafeteria-style table in the Enfield Correctional Center. He is emotional, near tears. “I wasted my life in here,” he said, flicking his head at the prison surroundings. “It was wasted time for nothing.”

“Damn.” A few tears come.

Henning and another man, Ralph “Ricky” Birch, have been locked up since 1989, serving sentences of 50 and 55 years respectively, for a gruesome 1985 murder in New Milford they steadfastly insist they didn’t commit.

Perhaps they didn’t. The state’s case, never airtight to begin with, has diminished over the years as two prosecution witnesses have recanted, key defense testimony was uncovered, and DNA testing put an unknown person at the scene. It also was disclosed that famed state criminalist Dr. Henry Lee offered erroneous testimony in the trials of the two men, though Lee contests the finding.

2 teens missing out of Amarillo

Two teenagers have been reported missing out of Amarillo since Nov. 17, according to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

Jeremiah Crespin, 14, is described as Hispanic and white. He is listed as being 5 feet, 5 inches tall and weighing about 180 pounds.

Daniel Neal, 16, is also described as Hispanic and white. He is listed as being 5 feet, 6 inches tall and weighing about 170 pounds. He may be in need of medical attention, according to the center.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Jeremiah and Daniel are asked to call 911, the Amarillo Police Department at 806-378-3038 or the center at 1-800-843-5678.
