Last night in Tampa: Dean McKee freed after three decades | tbo.com

TAMPA Dean McKee was 16 when he was condemned to spend the rest of his life in prison.

Three decades later, he walked out of the Hillsborough County jail on Tuesday night, allowed to finally go home while the appellate courts decide whether he can stay there.

McKee, 46, was released hours after a Hillsborough circuit judge agreed to released him on his own recognizance as the state appeals a judicial order striking down his 1988 murder conviction.

Watsonville man suspected of luring three children for child pornography



WATSONVILLE A 22-year-old Watsonville man will be arraigned Friday morning on suspicion of exploiting three children in four child-pornography videos since April 2016, according to a U.S. grand jury indictment.

Anthony Vega-Lobato, also known as “Dico B” and “basher384,” will appear at 9:30 a.m. Friday before U.S. Magistrate Judge Elizabeth Laporte in San Francisco, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office. An arraignment provides the accused the chance to plead.

Three men with guns rob 7-Eleven store


CHESTERFIELD Co. — Police are asking for your help finding three men who robbed a 7-Eleven on early Tuesday morning.

Police say the robbery that happened around 4:20 a.m.

They said three men entered the 7-Eleven at 1924 Walnut Drive and demanded money. One suspect had a handgun and another had a rifle. All three suspects fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money.

Descriptions of the suspects are as follows:

  • All three suspects are described as average height with a thin build.
  • Police say the first suspect was wearing a blue hooded jacket, black pants with white stripes, black shoes, and a red scarf that covered his face.

  • The second suspect was wearing a black hooded jacket, black pants, black bandana covering his face, and black shoes.

Gardaí Launch Public Appeal For Three Individual Missing Person Cases In Dublin

An Gardaí Síochána has launched a public appeal for assistance in relation to three individual missing people cases in Dublin. 

The first of which is Nathan Kelly (15) who has been missing since Friday November 24. Nathan is being described as 5’6”, of slim build with short brown hair and blue eyes. He was last seen on Temple Street at around 4:30pm on Friday afternoon.

He was believed to be wearing a black track suit top, grey Adidas track suit bottoms and white runners.

The second missing person is Derek Cleary (17) who has been missing from Fairview since Friday November 17. Derek is being described as 5’10” of medium build with short brown hair and blue eyes.He was last seen in Fairview at approximately 9.50pm last Friday.

When last seen he was wearing grey tracksuit shorts, blue Regatta zip top and bright blue Nike runners.

Three decades later, fingerprints help identify 18-year-old found dead in Ontario

More than three decades after the nude body of a sandy-haired young man was found in an abandoned Ontario home, new fingerprint technology has led authorities to identify him as 18-year-old Joseph Pace.

Pace’s decomposing body was found in the empty home in the 1600 block of East Holt Boulevard on the morning of Aug. 21, 1986, according to Ontario police officials and a press release from the time.

After his positive identification, police learned Pace’s body was found less than a mile from where his mother and stepfather worked as on-site managers and maintenance employees at the Capri Motel, located on Holt Boulevard near Grove Avenue. The motel is still operating today.

His family, mother, brother and two sisters, all currently live outside of California, police said.
