Police seeking vehicle in Manassas hit-and-run

Manassas police are investigating a hit-and-run wreck earlier this week.

The victim was at the 7-Eleven at 8402 Digges Road around 4:40 p.m. Tuesday when her vehicle was struck on the driver’s side while she was inside the business, police spokesperson Senior Officer C.D. Sharp said Friday.

Surveillance video captured the incident and the driver is described as a heavy-set black male driving a dark Ford extended cab pickup truck.

A man was found shot to death in Prince George’s County on Tuesday night in what authorities said was a homicide.

At around 9:30 p.m., officers responded to the area of Capital Lane and Capital Court in Largo, where they found 18-year-old Kelvin Robinson, of Bowie, Prince George’s County police said in a statement. Robinson was pronounced dead at the scene.

Person shot in the head, vehicle stolen in Petersburg: Crime Insider

PETERSBURG, Va. – A shooting victim has been rushed to the hospital after being shot in the head Wednesday night in Petersburg, Crime Insider sources tell Jon Burkett.

Those sources say after the victim was shot, the suspect stole their vehicle in the 1700 block of Boydton Plank Road. The incident reportedly happened around 9:59 p.m.

The shooting victim has been transported to a local hospital with life threatening injuries.

Sources say the vehicle stolen was a 2016 Dodge pickup truck, white in color, VA Registration VXZ3294.

No additional information has been released at this time. Detectives are actively working the case.
