Body of Missing Pregnant Woman Found in Minn. National Forrest

The body of a pregnant Minnesota woman who was reported missing earlier this month has been found, PEOPLE confirms.

Kara Blevins, 27, of Akeley was reported missing on Feb. 5. On Saturday night, her body was discovered in a wooded area in the Chippewa National Forest by Cass County Sheriff’s Office investigators, according to a statement released by the office.

She was last seen alive leaving her mother’s house and walking along a local road, according to a missing person’s flyer released by the Hubbard County Sheriff’s Department.

County Police: Man and Woman Found in Parked Car Were Shot to Death

Two were found dead in Burtonsville parking lot on Thursday

Montgomery County police are investigating the apparent double homicide of a man and a woman found shot to death Thursday in a car parked in a residential parking lot in Burtonsville.

The two victims are both from Virginia. Police identified them Friday night as Ashley Susan Dickinson, 34, of Mallory Terrace in Alexandria, and Joshua Michael Frazier, 29, of Space More Circle in Woodbridge.

At about 10 p.m. Thursday, a resident saw a car parked on Aldora Circle and noticed it was running, according to police. Dickinson and Frazier were inside and appeared to be dead, and the resident called 911.

Police initially investigated the deaths as suspicious before revealing Friday night that medical examiners determined both died from gunshot wounds.

UPDATE: Missing woman found dead on Center Lake

LEONI TWP., MI – A woman reported missing Friday was found Saturday morning off Lakeside Drive on the northwest side of Center Lake.

A resident reported he had spotted the woman, 79-year-old Viola Irene Rice, before 9 a.m. Feb. 17.

Blackman-Leoni Township public safety Officer Paul Long confirmed Rice had been located. Authorities declined to immediately comment on her condition.

A search effort began Friday afternoon. Michigan State Police flew a helicopter in the area and a total of six police dogs aided in the effort, the public safety department reported.

Rice was last seen at 2 a.m. Friday near Johnny’s Shell station on Fifth Street in Michigan Center. She was carrying a small, white stool, police reported in an early Saturday update.

Stroke victim fighting for his runaway service dog that woman won’t return

(ABC News) – When Zeus ran away from his California home over a year ago, David Guindon thought his husky was gone for good. Thanks to a microchip, however, Zeus has been found. But, Guindon says, the woman who has him is refusing to give him back.

Guindon bought Zeus in 2014 as a service dog after he suffered a stroke and heart attack that left him unable to walk, he told ABC Los Angeles station KABC-TV.

Zeus helped him get around his San Bernardino home in his motorized wheelchair, Guindon told the station.

“If I want to go outside I just tell him, ‘Open the door.’ He’d flip it open for me,” Guindon said. “[He would] hold it open long enough so I could get towards it and get out.”

Missing Las Vegas Woman Found Safe At Red Rock Canyon

LAS VEGAS, NV – Las Vegas Metropolitan Police are asking for the public’s help in finding a missing person they say may be in “severe emotional distress and in need of medical assistance.”

Elisabeth Reeves, 34, was reported missing on Thursday, Feb. 15 at 12:10 p.m. at Red Rock Canyon near Lost Creek Trail. Police say she was last seen wearing flip-flops, a dark jacket, black sweater, and blue jeans carrying a black backpack.

Reeves is a white female, approximately 5’4″ with blonde hair and several tattoos, including one on her throat. Anyone with information is encouraged to call LVMPD at 702-828-3111 or 702-828-2907.

UPDATE (12:25 p.m.): Elisabeth Reeves has been safely found at Red Rock Canyong, police said Friday.
